Frequently Asked Questions

How far in advance should I place my order?

I require at least two weeks’ notice for all custom orders. That said, the earlier you reach out, the better. My calendar can book up quickly, especially around holidays and weekends. If you're on a tight timeline, feel free to contact me to see if I have availability, but orders placed within two weeks of the pickup/delivery date are not guaranteed.


Do you offer delivery or pickup?

Yes, I offer pickup in Blue Springs, Missouri, and delivery within the Kansas City metro area. If you're outside of the KC metro, feel free to contact me and we can discuss options. Delivery is free for custom cakes and available for cookies and specialty desserts depending on distance.


Do you offer shipping?

At this time, I do not offer shipping for any products. All orders are for local pickup or delivery only.


How should I store my cookies, cakes, or other desserts?

Each cookie, whether decorated sugar cookies or specialty cookies, is individually sealed in a cellophane bag for freshness. Cookies can be stored at room temperature for up to one week or frozen in their packaging for up to one month.

Cakes and petit fours should be refrigerated and brought to room temperature before serving for the best taste and texture. Specific storage instructions will be provided with your order when needed.


Do your products contain allergens?

Please note: My kitchen is not nut-free. While not all products contain nuts, I do use ingredients that may come into contact with nuts, nut oils, and other allergens. If you or a guest has a nut allergy, I recommend you do not consume my products unless we’ve spoken about it beforehand. Always feel free to reach out with allergy questions before ordering.


What is your payment policy?

All orders are paid in full when placed. I do not accept deposits or offer partial payments at this time. Once we finalize your order, I will send you the total, and payment is required to confirm your booking on my calendar. Orders are not considered confirmed until payment is received.


Do you offer refunds or cancellations?

Because each item is made-to-order and customized just for you, I do not offer refunds for cancellations, missed pickups, or changes made less than one week before the scheduled pickup or delivery. If you have an emergency, please contact me as soon as possible and I’ll do my best to work with you. 


Can I place an order online?

Yes! You can now submit a custom order directly through the Start Your Order tab on my website. Just fill out the form with your event details, and I’ll get back to you within 24–48 hours to confirm availability, pricing, and next steps. It’s the easiest way to start your order!
