I’m Michelle, the heart and soul behind all the delectable creations at Michelle Leigh’s Baked Goods.

Born and raised in Kansas City, I’ve always found my way into the kitchen. Baking started early for me and never really stopped, and I’m incredibly grateful to have turned that lifelong passion into a career.

I’ve always believed the most important thing at a party is the food (because even if no one shows up, at least you’ll still have great dessert, right!). I love creating beautiful treats that are meant to be admired… and then absolutely devoured with a fork. I’m all about edible art, the kind that looks stunning on the table and tastes even better.

I specialize in decorated sugar cookies, cakes, and detailed sugar art, and I’m constantly challenging myself to see what’s possible with sugar.
